Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, high‑energy HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and design HVAC solutions for heavy industrial clients. Responsibilities Conduct field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, and prepare construction design packages. Layout and design HVAC systems, including chilled water, cooling water and other systems. Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, perform sizing and selection calculations, create Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and general arrangements. Produce final construction documents and coordinate with other disciplines to meet client needs. Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, and collaborate with a multi‑discipline, highly interactive team. Qualifications At least ten (10) years’ experience in designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Proficiency in Revit. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards for HVAC design. Ability to adapt within a fast‑paced team environment and meet multiple deadlines. Strong collaboration skills, including remote team communication. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700 and Trane Trace 3D. Experience designing plumbing/utility systems. Pay is determined by location and experience.
