Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical/Surgical Tele Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM / 7 AM - 7 PM rotation) Experience: 2 years recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry in a hospital setting License: Active RN license in New York Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: Candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work experience for non-U.S. candidates. Candidates must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule. Candidates are required to float to other units if needed. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Description: The position is for a nurse in the Medical Surgical Float Pool. The nurse will float between all Medical Surgical Tele units. The shift is nights with a 12-hour schedule consisting of a rotation between days and nights. 36 hours per week are available. The nurse is expected to work one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Additionally, the nurse must work at least one holiday per contract. Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed. Charting will be done using EPIC.
