Travel Radiology Technologist - Radiology

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a hospital radiology department, working 12-hour weekend day shifts. Requirements Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience required Active ARRT (R) registration required CT certification required BLS certification (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date Proficiency with image quality evaluation, contrast administration, radiation safety measures (ALARA), sterile technique, and infection prevention Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications License required if applicable DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Responsibilities Hospital-based radiology department setting Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures as primary scope of work 3x12-hour day shifts per week, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM Friday through Sunday (swing hours to be discussed during interview) 36 hours per week Uses Epic for charting Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient positioning, immobilization, and transfer Prepares and administers contrast per Radiologist protocol Submits images and clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation and evaluates image quality Follows radiation safety measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety Supervises and evaluates student radiographers in the clinical setting A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment; candidates are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer when available Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-737143 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
