• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required, exemptions only for medical or religious reasons

• Prior travel experience within the last 12 months

Description:

Candidates must be willing and able to float to other units and facilities as needed. Experience in preoperative or post-anesthesia care unit preferred. Critical care experience is a plus. Candidates should possess skills in airway assessment, ambulatory/outpatient care, and monitored anesthesia care. Responsibilities include discharge instructions, emergency medication administration, medication reconciliation, and pain assessment and management. Must be capable of obtaining operative/procedural consent and performing pre-op assessments. Knowledge of isolation precautions and experience with various age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, is essential. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The daily census is approximately 12 patients. Candidates should have experience with the Epic charting system. Additionally, candidates will be expected to complete non-billable modules as part of the onboarding process.
