As a Managing Technical Consultant, Remediation, Demolition and Construction Manager, you will play a critical, on-the-ground leadership role delivering high-impact decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition (DDD) projects across the U.S.This is a highly visible, field-focused role for an experienced professional who thrives at the intersection of construction management, environmental remediation, safety leadership, and client delivery. Your work directly supports the safe closure, redevelopment, and revitalization of legacy industrial sites while strengthening ERM's reputation as a trusted global environmental consultancy.What Your Impact IsServe as ERM's on-site leader for decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition projects across a variety of industrial environmentsEnsure safe, compliant, and high-quality execution of remediation construction activitiesLead the field implementation of both innovative and conventional remedial solutions for contaminated soil, groundwater, sediment, and vaporAct as a key communicator between contractors, field teams, and Project Managers to keep projects on schedule and on budgetSupport ERM's growth by contributing technical expertise to business development activitiesWhat You'll BringRequired7–10 years of experience supporting remediation construction sites and industrial decommissioning, decontamination, and demolition projectsBS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft ProjectExcellent client service, communication, and organizational skillsWillingness to travel extensively, with 80–90% of time spent in the fieldAbility to pass a background check and drug screenThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.PreferredOSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (OSHA 30-hour Construction and 8-hour Supervisor training a plus)Asbestos certification(s).Key ResponsibilitiesServe as ERM's on-site manager overseeing DDD projects at industrial facilities including oil and gas sites, power plants, and former chemical manufacturing facilitiesManage field construction projects involving demolition, environmental remediation, civil works, site development, earthwork, and hazardous waste managementAssist with planning, scheduling, and oversight of remediation and DDD projectsReview contractor submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirementsProvide construction management support and quality assurance/quality controlSupport site investigations and hazardous materials handling activitiesServe as Field Safety Officer and Demolition Manager when requiredPlan and schedule on-site staff and evaluate subcontractor performanceMaintain clear, consistent communication with the field team and Project ManagerTrack budgets, manage scopes of work, and support definition of new project scopesFor the Managing Technical Consultant, Remediation, Demolition and Construction Manager position, the anticipated annual base pay is $98,600–$126,100 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
