Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Employ radiographic and CT imaging techniques to produce top-notch diagnostic visuals for physician evaluation
  • Work in tandem with radiologists and the healthcare team to promote accurate and timely diagnoses
  • Skillfully position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimal imaging outcomes
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and team members alike
  • Keep meticulous records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance documentation
  • Deliver compassionate care, putting patients at ease throughout the imaging experience
  • Foster a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment for optimal teamwork

Qualifications

  • An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is an asset
  • Successful completion of an accredited radiology training program

Necessary Certifications

  • ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is required
  • Valid BLS certification or readiness to acquire one within 90 days of employment

Essential Skills

  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging practices and safety protocols
  • Exceptional communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary colleagues
  • Aptitude for adapting to fast-paced situations and changing demands
  • Detail-oriented mindset paired with a deep sense of responsibility
  • Comfort in utilizing PACS, RIS, and advanced imaging software
