Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Critical Care setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
Float within scope of practice across all pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU to meet facility needs
Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled
Adhere to all facility compliance requirements including pre-start modules (approximately 4 hours, completed pre-start and non-billable)
During hurricane season (June–November), be prepared for potential assignment to emergency response teams as required by the facility
Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience required
Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start date; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered with proof of application or eligibility for the SC walk-through process)
BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
PALS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered as a non-local candidate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
Familiarity with multi-unit float pool environments within a pediatric hospital setting
