Bilingual Spanish Phlebotomist

Bilingual Phlebotomist – Washington, DC Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00a.m. – 6:00p.m. (must be flexible); Saturdays as assigned. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Bilingual Spanish Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program may substitute for work experience if from an accredited agency Must pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to additional sites as needed Health & Vaccine Requirements Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All prospective hires must provide proof of vaccination or qualify for a medical or religious accommodation per applicable law. Pay Range $17.75 – $26.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data. Other Information PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
