Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Virginia or ability to obtain one promptly
• Board Certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist roles or inpatient obstetric care
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Prior experience working in a hospitalist setting or perinatal unit

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of post-residency obstetric hospitalist experience
• Active Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one swiftly

Other Requirements:

• Ability to start on 12/30/2025 and commit to scheduled shifts
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
• Travel and licensure reimbursement provided where applicable
