Akkodis is seeking a Financial IS Systems Manager role is a Full-time with a clientin Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH and Chicago, IL (Hybrid), We're ideally looking for a Financial Systems Manager with 7–10+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, ERP systems, and business administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial systems management, data analysis, SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel, along with hands‑on experience working with large datasets and improving business processes. The Financial IS Systems Manager is responsible for the administration, organization, integration strategic support our financial systems, with the primary responsibility for the Aderant Expert financial system. This position leads the planning, implementation and maintenance of all Financial technology, workflow automation solutions and the financial data that are critical to operations and acts as a liaison between Finance and the Technology team. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as the primary business owner and subject matter expert for the Aderant Expert System. Develops and maintains strategies for business applications, identifying opportunities for process improvement. Manages system security and data integrity by acting as a data steward for the firm's financial data. Oversees the implementation and upgrades of accounting applications, manages project timelines, budgets and resources. Manages financial systems, related user support functions, user training, and work balancing efforts for the Finance Department systems. Maintains the rate tables and billing templates. Oversees annual rate change process and billing system updates. Develops and manages metrics and reporting to identify and enable continuous improvement efforts, aiding in the development of financial reporting solutions. Develops and/or enhances Financial System business administration and supports policies, procedures, and provides support documentation. Drives continuous improvement efforts over Aderant system capabilities, identifying best practices and system enhancements. Oversees the automation of Revenue Cycle reporting. Performs other Finance department analytical projects as required. KEY COMPETENCIES Able to maintain strict confidentiality of the Firm's internal and personnel affairs and client information. Proven ability to build relationships and foster a collaborative approach to working with internal clients across practice groups and with management. Must be proactive and deliver high quality work. Able to anticipate problems and issues and exercise independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and act in solving problems while knowing when and to whom to elevate issues. QUALIFICATIONS The Financial IS Systems Manager will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance or Systems, bringing 7–10 years of experience in financial analysis with demonstrated expertise in data analysis and progressive responsibility in related roles. This position requires strong project management skills with the proven ability to successfully oversee multiple projects simultaneously. The Manager of Financial Systems should possess excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including experience working with large datasets, and be highly proficient in SQL, Microsoft Office (with advanced Excel skills), and Power BI.
