The ideal candidate will have strong experience in customer service, case review, and eligibility determination and a proven ability to conduct accurate interviews, verify documentation, and deliver clear resolutions for applicants and recipients of public assistance programs.
Responsibilities:
- Review applications for public assistance programs and determine eligibility through interactive interviewing and fact gathering.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of application forms and request follow-up information as needed.
- Explain rules and policies to claimants, representatives, employers, doctors, and state and federal agencies to support qualification determinations.
- Address customer concerns, identify appropriate programs, and guide applicants through benefit receipt.
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in accordance with agency standards.
- Travel to off-site meetings, training, or conferences as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ with reliable transportation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma.
