Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Based on shift and experience)
Available Shifts:
- Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Monday - Thursday: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
- Wednesday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Cherry Picker Operators to join a growing warehouse team in Lincolnton, NC. This position requires candidates who are comfortable working at elevated heights while operating a cherry picker to retrieve and stock inventory. The ideal candidate has previous equipment experience, can perform physically demanding work throughout the shift, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cherry picker to retrieve, stock, and move inventory throughout the warehouse
- Pick customer orders accurately while working at elevated heights
- Frequently get on and off equipment to manually pull and stage products
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated warehouse locations
- Utilize RF scanners to verify inventory and complete transactions accurately
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain accurate inventory while following warehouse procedures
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent cherry picker or order picker experience
- Must be comfortable working at elevated heights
- Must be able to frequently get on and off equipment to manually pull product
- Must be able to regularly lift 75+ pounds throughout the entire shift
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, and walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed
- Must wear steel toe boots
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cherry picker certification (or ability to become certified upon hire)
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations
- Experience with inventory control and order fulfillment
- Basic computer skills
