Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans based on physician orders and referrals
Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to help patients improve independence in daily living
Create and update individualized treatment and discharge plans as patients progress
Document all services accurately and in a timely manner
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in line with practice acts and facility policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure holistic patient care
Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and facility standards

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
Active state Occupational Therapy license, or the ability to obtain one
Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and assessment
Treatment planning and implementation
Accurate and timely documentation
Supervision of COTAs and support staff
Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
Knowledge of state and federal therapy regulations
