About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 24 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in MS/Tele License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI preferred Must-Have: 1:6 patient ratio experience Experience with EPIC charting system Ratings of 3-4 in all required skills Willingness to float to other facilities Description: Immediate hire with minimal requests for time off. Weekly orientation provided. Shorter contracts are accepted. Auto offer process with a maximum of 7 days for time off requests. Requires valid, unexpiring certifications upon start. Candidates must have 1.5 years of experience in MS/Tele nursing. Experience with a patient ratio of 1:6 is required. Unit cares for a variety of patients, including those with infectious diseases, oncology needs, cardiac issues, and post-surgical care. Candidates are required to float to other facilities. Successful applicants will be agreeable to weekend coverage, with 12 weekend shifts expected during the contract period. An open book EKG test will be administered during orientation. Individuals must demonstrate competency in accessing and managing ports, administering blood products, and caring for patients with various medical needs. Experience with telemetry monitoring is essential. Applications will not be accepted from first-time travelers or locals. Candidates must have previous charge experience, as well as proficiency in managing a variety of patient conditions. This position requires a collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams, including therapy and emergency response services. Individuals must be able to work flexible schedules and will not be accommodated for blocked scheduling requests. Prior experience with similar patient populations is preferred.
