Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN Spokane, Washington
A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide specialized care for neonates, including ventilator management and critical inpatient support. This role includes weekend coverage and may require floating across units, with travelers expected to float first. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts), minimum 36 hours per week; weekends required (variable; every other or as needed)
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Neonatal? (NRPS) (as provided: NRPS) ; charting system experience with Epic (required) ; prior experience with patient ratios (as provided: Patient Ratio Experience: 3 and Previous Charge Experience: -) ; valid WA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information: Ventilators are managed by Respiratory Therapy Services (RTS). Candidates must complete required compliance modules prior to start (modules are non-billable; average 16 hours, and over 20 hours requires approval). Tier 3 travel compliance documentation is due the Monday prior to the start date, with all requested scheduling/required time away requests submitted up-front. Some roles may require floating to other units for patients under age 2 on pediatric units. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless communicated for an agreed-upon interview.
