Commercial Drywall EstimatorA well-established commercial interiors contractor is hiring a Drywall Estimator to bid and win projects across their full scope: drywall, acoustical ceilings, structural framing, and light gauge metal framing. You'll work with project managers and leadership on a strong pipeline of commercial work, including office, healthcare, education, retail, and multifamily projects.What you'll doPrepare accurate, competitive bids for commercial drywall, acoustical ceiling (ACT), light gauge metal framing, and structural/CFS framing packagesPerform quantity takeoffs from plans and specs using On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similarReview drawings, specifications, and addenda, and identify scope gaps, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunitiesGet and level material and sub pricing, and build labor and production estimatesWrite clear proposals with inclusions, exclusions, and qualificationsAttend pre-bid meetings and site walks, and build relationships with general contractorsHand awarded projects off to operations with complete estimate documentationWhat you'll bring3+ years of estimating experience in commercial drywall, framing, or interior systemsWorking knowledge of ACT systems, metal stud framing, structural/CFS framing, and fire-rated and acoustical assembliesProficiency with digital takeoff software and ExcelStrong blueprint and spec reading skills, and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple bids and hit deadlinesField or project management experience is a plusWhat's offeredCompetitive base salary plus bonus potentialHealth, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with matchPaid time off and holidaysStable company with consistent backlog and growth opportunitiesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
