The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager by directly supervising a team within a dynamic retail environment. This position demands strong leadership to ensure smooth daily operations, effective team performance, and excellent customer relations while handling inventory and staff development. The Assistant Manager works a flexible schedule, including standard business hours, weekends, and night shifts, to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and lead a team to achieve operational goals
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate restocking as needed
- Train and develop staff to enhance skills and productivity
- Support the General Manager in daily store operations and decision-making
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and night shifts
