Systems Engineer - F-35 Combat Systems Weapon Product Owner | Lockheed Martin

As the F-35 Combat Systems Weapon Product Owner (level 5), you will be responsible for managing weapon capability development from initial requirements through fielding. The Product Owner coordinates, collaborates and drives execution across multiple domain teams and is responsible for all aspects of capability design, development, test and fielding for all aspects of engineering for a given capability. Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the overall voice and point of contact for a given capability
• Developing technical understanding of the capability, impacted hardware and software components, timeline to deploy, contract requirements and user expectations
• Developing the capability execution roadmap, plan of actions and milestones.
• Driving overall execution of the capability across organizational boundaries
• Forecasting/developing tools required to support development and technical assessment of the capability
• Ensuring appropriate use-cases are defined upfront and test methodologies maximize integration testing, regression and timely test data analysis
• Developing, tracking and reporting execution metrics to program leadership and customer communities

Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
