Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to ED patients, including initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and autonomic support; manage monitoring equipment and telemetry
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate care, disposition, and patient flow
- Respond to emergencies, manage high-acuity presentations (e.g., chest pain, stroke), and assist with procedures as needed
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record with accuracy and HIPAA compliance

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or multi-state license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Conscious Sedation Competency
- Minimum 1 year of ED experience within the last 12 months; 2 years preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; weekend night coverage may be required up to 3 nights per pay period
- Eligibility to work in a high-volume ED and capacity to manage inpatient boarders as needed
