Process Engineer

Role: Process Engineer Location: Draper, UT Company: Intellectt Inc Rate: $40/hr - $45/hr W2 Schedule: Onsite, 5 days/week Job Summary: Seeking a Process Engineer to support sustaining and continuous improvement activities in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on process optimization, root cause analysis, yield/scrap reduction, process characterization, and validation . Key Responsibilities: Sustain and improve manufacturing processes, yield, quality, and efficiency. Troubleshoot process issues using RCA, DMAIC, and Lean Six Sigma . Perform process characterization and analyze manufacturing data. Use Minitab, DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis to identify process variation. Lead continuous improvement projects focused on yield, scrap, efficiency, and labor reduction. Support IQ/OQ/PQ, process validation, equipment qualification, and change control . Work ~20% on the manufacturing floor with technicians and engineering teams. Document technical findings and provide data-driven recommendations. Required Skills: 3 10 years of Process/Manufacturing Engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, or related Engineering. Regulated manufacturing experience; medical device/pharma preferred . Strong Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, RCA, process characterization, and statistical analysis skills. Experience with Minitab or similar statistical tools . Experience with validation, qualification, and change control . Preferred: Medical device manufacturing. Metal processing such as heat treatment, electropolishing, or laser cutting . Plastics processing, extrusion, or injection molding. DOE, SPC, and process capability experience.
