The Aerospace Corporation is hiring a graduate level Power and Analog Circuit Engineering Intern for the Analog and Power Systems Department within the Electronics Engineering Subdivision. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in El Segundo, CA. What You’ll Be Doing Use of standard lab equipment to perform electrical engineering evaluations at the breadboard level required. Perform circuit simulations using SABER and SPICE computer codes. Close and timely coordination and communication of progress of ongoing tasks and technical issues with the Engineering Technology Group management and technical peers. Develop clear and concise written reports, presentations, and concisely articulate presentation material to management and peers. Participates with an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs with academic collaboration partners. Applies standard techniques and procedures to carry out a series of prescribed scientific and/or engineering tasks. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed. Training and mentorship will be provided. Bachelor's degree completed by internship start date Minimum GPA of 3.0 Demonstrated knowledge and/or completed coursework of circuit simulation and lab component/circuit characterization techniques. Ability to Travel 25%. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. Transcripts required.
