Clinic RN - Lakeway, TX

Overview Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:30am‑5pm position with no weekends, on‑call, or major holidays. Role can be Level 1, Level 2, or Senior based on candidate experience. Responsibilities Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices. Assess health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history. Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material. Provide psychosocial support to patients and families. Facilitate clinical operations and patient care. Manage patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy telephone line and record the information in the patient chart. Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients. Triage patient phone calls as needed and document relevant information in the patient chart. As necessary, facilitate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team and coordinate services related to patient care. Assist patients in locating available community resources. Inter‑professional collaboration. Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants. Qualifications Level 1 Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 0‑3 years nursing experience, preferably at least one year in oncology. Level 2 3‑5 years nursing experience including at least one year in oncology. Level Sr Five years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology.
