Clinical Lab Scientist I

Natera seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform diagnostic specimen analysis and maintain laboratory equipment. The role involves executing standardized testing procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting team operations in a diagnostics research environment.
Responsibilities
- Verify specimens and perform clinical laboratory tests following established protocols
- Maintain equipment in proper working condition and troubleshoot common malfunctions
- Document protocol deviations, quality control results, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Serve as resource for team members and provide instrument-specific training as super user
- Maintain updated knowledge of lab methods and participate in standard operating procedure updates
Requirements
- 1-2 years medical technologist or clinical laboratory experience
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology, biological sciences, or related field
- Current California CLS (generalist) or CGMBS license
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices and quality control procedures
- Proficiency with laboratory instruments and troubleshooting capability
