In this position, you'll collaborate with Operations teams to optimize costs, analyze variances, and ensure accurate standard costing across our manufacturing facilities. You'll leverage your expertise to support critical financial processes, from monthly closes to annual cost rolls, while helping advance continuous improvement initiatives that impact our bottom line. Additionally, employment sponsorship is not provided now or in the future, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end close responsibilities including journal entries, reconciliations, and material variance analysis.Own and analyze daily and weekly financial and operational metrics and KPIs; support leadership decision making through analyses.Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports detailing performance of key business metrics and underlying business drivers causing variances to expected results.Assist with development and presentation of monthly business reviews.Routine Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance.Support annual standard cost roll and maintenance of system costs, performance of production routing analysis.Support Capex project management and analysis.Actively participate in and lead initiatives to improve execution and factory operational performance.Provide comprehensive finance support to enable delivery of productivity commitments (PPI).Other responsibilities as assigned.Experience, skills & abilities:High school diploma and/or GED plus 2-4 years of experience in cost accounting or finance, or comparable relevant experience in manufacturing, healthcare, or similar fieldStrong proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP or equivalent)Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting toolsDemonstrated expertise in standard cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory managementExperience with monthly/quarterly close processes and journal entriesAbility to perform cost modeling and analysis for business cases, NPIs, and make-vs-buy decisionsExperience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and production routing analysisAbility to build effective partnerships across operations, planning, procurement, and finance teamsStrong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirementsExperience supporting internal and external auditsAbility to manage multiple assignments, exercise good judgement, and prioritize projects and time effectively.Commitment to continuous learning, career progression and development, embrace additional responsibilities and seek opportunities to stretch capabilitiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to work effectively in a structured, matrix environmentProcess improvement mindset
