Warehouse ClerkToray Advanced Composites (TAC) is a leading supplier of advanced composite materials for the aerospace, sporting goods, motorsport, and industrial markets. You will find our thermoset composite products on nearly every satellite, space launch vehicle, unmanned aircraft, military and commercial aircraft in production today. TAC also provides composites materials to industrial and recreational applications including mountain bikes, medical prosthetics, and sports equipment.Our thermoplastic prepregs, known in the industry as Cetex®, are found in a wide range of commercial and military aircraft, including large wing structures and interior applications like seats and galleys. Our Cetex products are available in unidirectional tape or fabric form in a variety of engineered thermoplastic resins including PEEK, PPS, PEI as well as a full line of performance thermoplastics including Nylon, PET, HDPE, and PP.Under the supervision of the lead and supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk will ensure that all inventory is properly handled, labelled, packaged and accounted for. Please note roles and responsibilities are subject to change with or without advanced notice.Major duties and requirements include:Unload deliveries and stage for receiving inspection or put-awayStock inventory onto proper shelf locationsPractice FIFO inventory issuancePick inventory for transfer to production or shipment to customers or vendorsPerform inventory cycle countsResearch missing inventory/materials and report any discrepanciesAssist warehouse, shipping and receiving personnel with day-to-day activities as neededPerform data entry as requiredExperience and/or education requirements include:Minimum high school diploma or equivalent1 year of experience in a warehouse environment preferred, previous experience supporting a manufacturing environment is a plusMust be familiar with computer systems including MS Office and data base systems (FileMaker Pro and AX preferred)Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbally) in EnglishExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work with all levels of the companyAbility to operate a pallet jack and forkliftMaintain work areas in neat, orderly and safe mannerMust be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.Hourly rate: $25/hr - $26/hrToray Advanced Composites employment practices offer equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate against its employees or applicants because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, or any other basis prohibited by law.
