Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and Level I Trauma experience for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• Level I Trauma center setting
• Work across Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ED, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient settings
• Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Performs Abdomen and Pelvis, Chest, Head and Neck, Spine and Musculoskeletal CT studies
• Performs Coronary CTA, CT arthrography, Myelography, and Vascular CTA
• Utilizes 3D rendering and Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) for image display and post processing
• Uses GE equipment and PACS system
• Epic charting preferred but other EMR experience accepted
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• No on-call requirement
• Possible floating as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
• AZ state licensure CRT and CTCT required (license required if applicable)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ED, Pediatric Acute Care, and Pediatric Outpatient settings
• Proficient in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions
• Experience with GE equipment and PACS system

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of CT imaging studies across multiple anatomical regions
• Preferred experience includes aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography or virtual colonography, and drainage procedures
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers considered only if they have over 2 years of experience and meet all requirements
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Hours per shift: 12
