Location: Dallas, Texas


Pay: $1,740.96 per week


Shifts: Rotating weekends (day shift Sat and Sun, night shift Fri and Sat)


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pediatrics CVICU Cardiac Nurse for a travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. This role requires expertise in pediatric cardiac intensive care within a collaborative and dynamic work environment, providing top-tier care to patients with congenital heart disease.

Key Responsibilities of the Pediatrics CVICU Cardiac Nurse

• Provide compassionate and empathetic care delivery
• Carry out central line and arterial line placement
• Perform conscious sedation, intubation, and extubation
• Manage post-operative recovery of general and cardiac procedures
• Conduct sternal closures, codes, and ECMO cannulation/decannulation
• Participate in CRRT and Manual PD

Requirements of the Pediatrics CVICU Cardiac Nurse

• 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as a staff nurse
• 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU
• 2 years minimum PICU experience as a staff nurse
• Experience with caring for patients with congenital heart disease
• Experience managing arterial, central, and transthoracic lines
• PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications
