Sylva Valley Health & Rehab is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Receptionist to join our team in a Part-Time or PRN position.

Our receptionist is often the first person residents, families, visitors, vendors, and potential employees meet when they enter our facility. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, has a positive personality, and can create a welcoming first impression.

If you're organized, outgoing, dependable, and enjoy working with people, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule

• Part-Time and PRN positions available
• Flexible scheduling based on facility needs
• Weekday and weekend availability may be needed
• Opportunity to pick up additional hours when available
• Perfect for retirees, students, or someone looking for supplemental hours

What You'll Do

• Welcome residents, families, visitors, and guests
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
• Assist visitors with questions and directions
• Monitor the front entrance and visitor flow
• Provide general clerical and administrative support
• Assist with filing, copying, scanning, and other office duties
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
• Communicate with nursing and department leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
• Protect resident privacy and confidential information
• Help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone entering the facility

• Friendly and outgoing
• Dependable and punctual
• Professional in appearance and communication
• Comfortable answering phones and interacting with the public
• Organized and able to handle multiple tasks
• Comfortable using computers and basic office programs
• Able to remain calm and helpful in a busy environment
• A strong team player

Previous receptionist, customer service, healthcare, hospitality, or office experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.
