Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry. Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration. Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements. Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
