Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Loan Operations & API Integration (LoanIQ / AFS) Experience: 10+ Years Location: Hybrid- Iselin NJ/Johnston RI Job Description We are seeking a highly driven Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in commercial lending operations with Syndicated loans (LoanIQ) and Bilateral Loans (AFS Vision) to support a strategic banking transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in loan booking, closing, renewals, and operational workflows, combined with experience working on API integrations and business process transformation. This role requires someone who can work directly with Business Operations stakeholders, drive discussions, gather requirements proactively, and create high-quality business and functional documentation. We are specifically looking for someone who is hands‑on, proactive, and capable of driving initiatives forward, rather than someone who passively waits for direction. Primary Responsibilities Partner directly with Loan Operations and Business stakeholders to understand current‑state processes and operational pain points Lead requirements gathering and documentation for: Loan booking, Loan closing, Renewals and amendments, Operational servicing workflows Work closely with technology teams on API integration initiatives involving LoanIQ, AFS, and downstream systems Create and maintain: Business requirements documents (BRDs), Functional specifications, Process flows, User stories and acceptance criteria Facilitate workshops and drive discussions across operations, business, and technology teams Identify process improvement opportunities and help drive operational efficiency Support UAT, testing coordination, and production readiness activities Act as a bridge between business operations and technical delivery teams Required Skills & Experience 8–12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Commercial Banking Strong hands‑on experience with: LoanIQ (Syndicated Loans), AFS Vision (Bilateral Loans) Deep understanding of: Loan booking, Loan closing, Renewals and servicing operations Experience supporting API integration projects within banking environments Strong experience working directly with Business Operations teams Excellent documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to proactively drive requirements and delivery discussions Preferred Skills Experience supporting commercial lending transformation initiatives Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and JIRA Exposure to syndicated lending or complex commercial loan products Experience working in hybrid business/technology environments Company Profile Stratacent is a Global IT consulting and Services firm, headquartered in Jersey City, NJ, USA with offices in UK, Canada, and South Africa and global capability centers (GCC) in Pune and Gurugram in India.
