Quality Control Technician

Position Details Location: Pan-Oston - Bowling Green, KY 42101 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Any Job Category: QA - Quality Control Overview Pan-Oston is a leading provider of metal and wood fixtures that serves the largest retail members. The company is a Houchens Industries employee‑owned business. This role seeks a motivated, highly skilled team player to perform quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process. Record test data and results, applying established quality control procedures. Evaluate data and write reports to validate or identify deviations from existing standards. Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis. Use gauges and other devices to verify conformity to product standards. Collect, review, and maintain files of all documentation related to production and quality control. Perform incoming product inspections and 5‑S inspections. Conduct process audits and provide process training. Manage Return Materials Authorization process. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Position Requirements 1‑2 years experience with overall Quality Systems and practical application. Print reading and interpretation skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Highly motivated and self‑starter. Excellent organizational skills. Problem‑solving skills. Physical Demands Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, and perform basic hand functions. Education High school diploma required; technical college preferred. Work Environment Frequent standing, hand use for touching or handling objects, and occasional bending, walking, and reaching with hands and arms; close vision required.
