As a Registered Nurse on the Labor & Delivery team, you will be part of a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. More about our team Our Labor & Delivery team is caring toward each other and toward the patients. We offer a family‑centered, patient‑safety environment for expecting mothers. The Obstetrics unit has 5 L&D rooms, 1 OR suite on unit, 2 NICU beds, and 15 antepartum and post‑partum private rooms, averaging approximately 350‑400 deliveries per year. How you'll contribute Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. ACLS required within 90 days of hire. NRP Advanced certification required within 90 days of hire. AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within 90 days of hire. Associate's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred). Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
