GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work independently and in collaboration with Senior Structural Engineer(s). Design work includes deep foundations, pile caps, mat foundations, spread footings, equipment support towers and bridges (truck/rail receiving tunnels), and vertical slipform concrete superstructures. Interact with engineers, drafters, and project managers and superintendents in the development of preliminary and final structural design documents. Familiarity with IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC documents. Jobsite inspections intermittently required. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering and three (3) years of experience with reinforced concrete design. Active FE license/EIT designation with the intent and ability to obtain PE license within 1-2 years. Experience with AutoCAD, and RISA-3D structural analysis computer software. Interest in designing industrial facilities; specifically, reinforced concrete structures. Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen required.
