Marshfield Children's Hospital features a Level I, eight-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) that delivers the highest standard of care for critically injured or seriously ill patients, ranging from newborns to adolescents up to 19 years old. Job SummaryWe are seeking positive, compassionate, and dedicated registered nurses (RNs) who can provide the high-quality care that our patients and their families expect. Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate patient care, including assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide empathetic care to patients throughout all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Demonstrate competency and utilize comprehensive nursing expertise.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, including institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.
- Must hold an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
