HR Business Partner - Distribution Center

Purpose Supports the Distribution Center HR Team in providing professional level HR support to the DC Operations in the areas of employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and tracking of HR metric reporting. Partners closely with operational leaders and employees to ensure HR programs are implemented and supported thoughtfully and in accordance with adidas policies. Key Responsibilities Establish HR as a trusted business partner and ensure HR initiatives, programs, and policies are fully understood and implemented thoughtfully within the Operations team Coach leaders on talent management and how to best motivate and challenge all members of their teams, (from high performers to under performers) to ensure employee performance, engagement, and accountability Provide an ear and be a coach to employees to help them navigate job issues, career development and answer general questions regarding HR programs and policies Participate as team member on multi-disciplinary projects that utilize various parts of the onsite HR team to achieve the project's objectives Partner with recruitment and hiring team to make sound hiring decisions, give guidance and expertise as needed Lead the onboarding process for all new employees ensure their acclimation to the organization Consult with Operations leaders on employee relations issues and provide guidance on the appropriateness of different actions Work closely with HR Specialist to confirm SAP is up to date regarding employee personnel data and organizational structure changes Assists with verbalizing corrective actions, incident reporting, terminations, and other various administrative tasks Key Relationships Talent Acquisition Local HR Managers & Specialists DC Training Team Operations Line Management Distribution Employees Legal Knowledge Skills and Abilities Strong team player with the ability to work with diverse groups of people in a productive manner Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally. Multi-lingual a plus HRIS experience, SAP a plus Ability to use MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge and familiarity of local, state and federal employment law Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills Ability to offer solutions, provide advice and drive resolution on people related matters Customer oriented, approachable with strong interpersonal skills Ability to keep a pulse on employee morale and offer hands‑on solutions At adidas we offer a hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. However, this role directly supports our Distribution Center floor operations, which may require an alternative remote workday to ensure consistent coverage and support. Additionally, this role involves a high level of collaboration and may require the incumbent to be on‑site for the full work week. The working location of this position is Wilkes-Barre, PA. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications Four-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with emphasis in human resource management or psychology preferred 2+ years' generalist HR and recruitment experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment required Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree adidas celebrates diversity, supports inclusiveness and encourages individual expression in our workplace.
