Intake Specialist

Riverside Legal Aid, a nonprofit law firm, is seeking a full-time receptionist for its Riverside office. Riverside Legal Aid provides free legal services to indigent populations in Riverside County using paid and volunteer attorneys. The position is a full-time entry level position with full benefits.
Intake Specialist Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for answering/ transferring calls and returning voicemails.
- Using the case management system to perform intake on qualifying clients and setting appointments.
- Entering intake notes in a clear and concise manner.
- Uploading client documentation for attorney review.
- Work with attorneys and paralegal in managing legal caseload.
- Informs clients by answering or referring inquiries.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Attend outreach events.
Riverside Legal Aid is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hourly wage of $18-$22 hourly based on experience and qualifications. Three weeks paid vacation, sick time, and a 3% matching 401(k) provided. Attendance of occasional outreach weekend events will be required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma required.
- Previous reception experience preferred.
- Previous experience with Outlook software preferred.
