Job Title: Pediatrician (Outpatient)
Location: Gallup, NM (IHS Outpatient Clinic)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Patient Load: patients per day
Requirements
- Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics ABP required)
- Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate specialty referrals when necessary
- Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to IHS and federal clinical standards and guidelines
