  We're looking for an Indirect Buyer to join our Purchasing team in Lexington, Ohio . In this role, you'll help ensure our manufacturing operations have the materials, services, and supplier relationships they need to run efficiently every day. If you enjoy solving problems, building supplier partnerships, and working cross-functionally to keep a business moving, we'd love to meet you.

  What You'll Do

  As our Indirect Buyer, you'll support sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing activities for a wide range of commodities that keep our plant operating at its best.

  You'll:

  • Purchase indirect materials and services that support plant operations, including MRO supplies, tooling, safety equipment, office supplies, and facility-related items.
  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate ERP transactions.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and other internal teams to support day-to-day business needs.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities for assigned materials.
  • Source suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Resolve supplier, delivery, invoicing, and receiving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and ERP system data.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on purchasing processes, inventory management, and supplier performance.
  • Travel occasionally to supplier locations and GHSP manufacturing facilities as needed.
  What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or related experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred; automotive experience is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating across multiple departments.
