Software Dev Engineer - Software Dev Engineer I

The Content Platform team is looking for a Software Development Engineer who will act as first‑level support and development for all incoming production software application issues related to merchandising applications. This role will develop monitoring solutions, troubleshoot/debug code, perform SQL queries, improve metrics systems, update and track technical challenges, and collaborate with Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects. Your solutions will directly impact our customers. Responsibilities Develop monitoring solutions Troubleshoot/debug and fix internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, Java) Perform SQL queries Improve systems that gather metrics on our features Update, track, and resolve technical challenges Work alongside development on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects Update and enhance our current software Automate support processes Document our systems Qualifications Detail‑oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure Preferred coding skills: Perl, C/C++, Java Other desired technical skills: Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2‑5 years of relevant experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Ampcus, Inc
