Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides critical immediate patient care in a fast-paced environment. They evaluate, monitor, and treat patients with urgent medical needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments of incoming patients using standard techniques and diagnostic tools.
• Administer medications accurately, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols.
• Document patient information clearly and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Interact professionally with patients, respecting their cultural, religious, and individual needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously, responding swiftly to changes or emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Clinical nursing experience in emergency or acute care preferred.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization is desirable.
• Certification in a relevant specialty is preferred.
