Grounds Maintenance

Grounds PersonArcosa Aggregates is seeking a Grounds Person based out of our Archbald, PA Quarry, who will support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards in our East Region. This role is responsible for safely operating and maintaining machinery, such as crushers, conveyors, and screens, making spec aggregate on a day-to-day basis.Day to DayPerforming daily inspections and routine maintenance on equipmentControlling the flow of materialMonitoring for safety hazards and equipment malfunctionsConducting quality checks on materialsKeep detailed production, maintenance, and inspection recordsPerform any repairs or clean up around the plantsPerform other duties or responsibilities as assignedAbout YouPrompt, regular, and predictable attendancePositive, team-based attitudeThe ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)High school diploma or GED equivalentVery organizedGood, detailed communication skillsWorking ConditionsAbility to work in outdoor environments, handle exposure to dust and noise, and perform physically demanding tasks. Work in various weather conditions.
