Environmental Specialist

Job Duties Environmental Compliance & Reporting Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and company policies Assist with Title V and NSR permitting, including required reporting and certifications Gather and manage data for regulatory programs (e.g., CERCLA, EPCRA, SARA, LDAR, GHG) Support SPCC compliance, including spill response, remediation, and reporting Program Support & Auditing Assist in implementing and maintaining environmental programs and procedures Participate in compliance audits and support corrective actions Maintain organized environmental records and documentation Communicate updates on compliance status and environmental performance Operational Support Partner with operations and maintenance teams to integrate environmental best practices Assist with environmental reviews and permitting for projects Support waste management and remediation activities Act as a point of contact for regulatory interactions and inspections Develop knowledge of natural gas processing and compression operations Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent) Entry-level candidates welcome; senior consideration for 7+ years of experience Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or consulting environments Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance processes Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to travel overnight as needed Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Reliable attendance and commitment to safety Physical requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
