Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Physical Therapist skilled in school-based practice, ready to work closely with students, educators, and families. Enjoy the flexibility of contributing your expertise for approximately 20 hours each month throughout the entire 2026/2027 school year. What’s Needed for Success:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Experience delivering physical therapy in school settings or comparable pediatric healthcare environments
- Strong communication abilities for collaborating with multidisciplinary education teams, students, and parents
- Knowledge of IEP development, documentation requirements, and progress reporting in educational settings
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
- Energetic, compassionate, and resourceful problem-solver
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ physical functioning, mobility, and access within school environments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help students achieve IEP goals
- Document assessments, therapy sessions, and progress; prepare required reports for the IEP team and school staff
- Serve as a consultant to educators on classroom modifications and physical accessibility
- Participate in team meetings, offering insights for student-centered decisions
- Provide guidance on safe equipment use and advocates for student needs
