Veterinary Technician Supervisor - Emergency

Overview BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals at our Midtown, NY location. Schedule and pay Schedule : Sunday-Wednesday Pay : $33.00 - $51.50 / hour Note : This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift Differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example: Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = +$4.50/hr. Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = +$4.50/hr. Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = +$8.00/hr. Shift Differential Responsibilities Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge while working alongside the technical staff. Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations. Work with hospital leadership to organize team huddles and meetings. Assist Vet Tech Managers with managing schedules for technician and assistant staff. Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution. Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans. Other related duties as assigned. Why BluePearl?
