You will help deliver our portable mobile app components for some of UnitedHealthcare and Optum's leading mobile apps. As part of the Mobile Platform Product team, you will report to the Mobile Product Management Lead and work with a scrum team including Engineering, Architecture, XD, Project Management, and others.Primary Responsibilities:Manage the roadmap for the Mobile Platform teamWork with the product peers, architects and engineers to help build and define product strategy and roadmapDrive adoption of the mobile framework with partners across the UHC and Optum businessReview internal consumer needs on an ongoing basis and bring new product ideas based on dataEstablish detailed requirements and user stories for each feature, in partnership with engineering counterpartsWork with engineering and other teams (including others in Product, XD, Program Management, Business Strategy, etc.) for delivery of roadmap itemsOversee feature delivery process from soup to nuts, from idea initiation, all the way through delivery, and then be able to iterate on ideas through insightsContribute to a product culture of continuous development and rapid test and learnYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:5+ years in platform product management, product strategy, or technical roleBachelor's degree required, M.B.A. and background with Computer Science Understand the unique technical and design constraints and opportunities with mobile appsPassionate about the efficiencies, scale, and experience consistencies achieved by building systems and platformsBring a "Feature CEO" mentality every weekUnderstand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with all kinds of employeesPreferred Qualification:Technical experienceCareers with Optum.
