Traveling MEP Superintendent

MEP SuperintendentPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Traveling MEP Superintendent to lead and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation and commissioning activities across multiple project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards, especially on critical infrastructure projects such as data centers. This role requires frequent travel, strong field leadership, technical MEP knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site leadership and supervision of MEP crews, subcontractors, and vendors across multiple project sites, ensuring work is performed safely and to specification.Plan, sequence, and manage day-to-day MEP installation activities to meet project schedules and milestones; coordinate logistics for materials, equipment, and manpower while traveling between sites.Oversee installation, startup, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including HVAC, chillers, piping, boilers, switchgear, UPS, generators, and fire suppression systemswith a focus on data center critical systems where applicable.Enforce safety programs and jobsite policies, conduct toolbox talks, safety audits, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.Coordinate with project management, engineering, quality control, and clients to resolve field issues, clarify drawings/specifications, and manage RFIs and change orders.Perform quality inspections, oversee testing and commissioning procedures, document punch lists, and verify corrective actions are completed before turnover.Maintain accurate daily reports, work logs, manpower reports, and as-built documentation; update schedule forecasts and report progress to project leadership.Mentor and develop field personnel, promote skilled trades training, and drive a culture of continuous improvement and efficient work practices.Facilitate coordination with other trades and site stakeholders to minimize conflicts and ensure smooth integration of MEP systems into the overall project.Support commissioning and handover activities for data center projects, including coordination of factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), load bank testing, and transfer to operations.QualificationsMinimum 4+ years MEP SuperintendentData Center experience BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits, paid time offleaves of absencesvoluntary benefitsperks, flexible work optionswell-being resourcesemployee assistance programbusiness travel insuranceservice recognition awardsretirement savings plan and employee stock purchase plan.
