We are focused on growing our retail presence throughout the Imperial Valley and are seeking a motivated sales professional to help expand our customer base.Position OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Retail Sales Representative to identify, visit, and develop relationships with retail stores throughout the Imperial Valley. This is a field-based sales role focused on acquiring new accounts and growing our delivery routes.The ideal candidate is comfortable making cold calls in person, building relationships with store owners and managers, and creating new business opportunities. Because many of our customers are Spanish-speaking, fluency in both English and Spanish is required.Key ResponsibilitiesVisit convenience stores, liquor stores, grocery stores, markets, and other retail businesses throughout the Imperial ValleyProspect and identify new customers for California Ice Company products and servicesConduct in-person sales presentations and cold callsBuild relationships with store owners, managers, and decision-makersGenerate new accounts and add stops to existing delivery routesMaintain records of customer visits, leads, and sales activityCoordinate with operations and customer service teams to onboard new customersFollow up with prospects and maintain ongoing customer relationshipsRepresent California Ice Company professionally in the marketplaceQualificationsBilingual in English and Spanish (required)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable with door-to-door and face-to-face salesSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseAbility to travel throughout Brawley, El Centro, Calexico, Imperial, Holtville, and surrounding areasBasic computer and smartphone proficiencyPreferred ExperienceRetail salesOutside salesRoute salesCustomer serviceBeverage, food service, grocery, or convenience store industry experienceWhat We're Looking ForPositive attitude and strong work ethicComfortable hearing "no" and continuing to prospectAbility to build trust and develop long-term relationshipsGoal-oriented and motivated by growthProfessional appearance and communication skillsScheduleFull-time positionMonday through FridayOccasional evening or weekend visits may be required based on customer availabilityWhy Join Us?This is an opportunity to play a direct role in growing California Ice Company's footprint throughout the Imperial Valley.
