Part-Time STEAM / STEM Teacher (September Start)

Job Description

Love working with kids but hate taking work home? We are hiring energetic Part-Time Teachers to lead fun, hands-on STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, Math) after-school programs and field trips for elementary students.

All lesson plans and supplies are 100% provided!

Why Apply?

Great Flat-Rate Pay: Earn $50 per after-school session (covers a total 1.5-hour time commitment: 15 min setup, 60 min instruction, 15 min cleanup).
Field Trips & Events: $25-30/hour for occasional school-hour or weekend events.
Total Flexibility: Work 2 to 4 afternoons a week based on your schedule.
Done-For-You Curriculum: No creating lesson plans or purchasing supplies—everything is fully pre-packaged for you

What You’ll Do

Arrive 15 minutes prior to class to prep materials.
Lead dynamic, 60-minute interactive building and engineering projects.
Maintain an engaging, safe, and positive classroom environment.
Clean up materials and ensure safe student dismissal (15 minutes).

Qualifications

Prior experience teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, or coaching youth (K-5th grade).
High-energy personality with strong classroom control.
Reliable personal vehicle to travel to local school sites.
Must pass a standard criminal background check.
