Buyer Assistant II

As a Buyer's Assistant II, you will assist buyers with inventory inbound maintenance and management, service level troubleshooting, and support various tasks with buyers, vendors, transportation, and warehouses.

Job Description

• Full Time, On-Site Role

• Location: 91-315 Hanua Street, Kapolei, HI 96707

• Compensation: $19.28-$24.05 per hour

You will contribute by:

• Purchase order entry: Manually key in customer order requests received into the C&S order processing system.

• Manage all aspects of inbound purchase orders, including revisions, expedites, dating, securing appointments, and routine follow-up until receipt.

• Respond to calls and emails from customers, buyers, vendors, and warehouses regarding purchase orders, inventory management, transportation, and impaired inventory issues.

• Oversee the return logistics process, including completion of R-Bills and coordination with buyers and external parties to manage the return/disposition of impaired inventories.

• Produce and distribute various procurement reports.

• Collect, organize, and distribute data.

• Support projects related to service level management and inventory management as assigned by the supervisor.

• Assist with start-up–related tasks when required by the department manager.

We’re looking for candidates with:

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

• Capacity to work in a fast-paced, evolving, and sometimes high-pressure environment.
