Product Manager

Job Title: Product Manager – Agency 640, Service Oklahoma Agency: Service Oklahoma, Department: Digital Experience Annual salary: $65,000 per year. Benefits include a benefits allowance that offsets medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance costs; a 7% match to a Defined Contribution retirement plan; 11 paid holidays; 15 days paid annual leave that increases with service; 15 days paid sick leave; and longevity payments based on years of service with the State of Oklahoma. Job Description The Product Manager oversees the full lifecycle of a product, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs while improving the overall digital experience. Responsibilities Work closely with the Digital Experience Manager, UI/UX Designer, developers, and other stakeholders to align product strategy with business and customer goals. Provide clear, well‑written, and easy‑to‑understand functional requirements to developers to achieve desired outcomes. Identify new opportunities that align with the product vision to add to the backlog while working current projects through the product lifecycle to keep the roadmap moving. Interact with customers and staff to understand their experience and share findings with the Director of Experience, Digital Experience Manager, and UI/UX Designer to identify opportunities for product improvement. Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards, customer needs, and business objectives. Develop post‑launch support documentation and strategies that ensure smooth delivery and minimal disruptions. May cross‑train in other sections of the division based on agency needs. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Understand goals, needs, and outcomes to create solutions that solve problems and improve the digital experience for customers. Make data‑driven decisions to solve problems and evaluate issues as needed to ensure successful product delivery. Be knowledgeable about industry changes and explore all solution possibilities. Review feedback and gather data necessary to influence and support solutions. Apply product management methodologies successfully. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any field, OR two (2) years of experience in product management, OR a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference given to candidates with five (5) years of experience in product management in lieu of education. Special Requirements The schedule may vary and require flexibility, including early or late shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime. The role may require occasional travel; the employee must be willing and able to perform all job‑related travel. State vehicles may be used; reliable local transportation is required. The position is performed in a comfortable office setting with a computer for most of the day.
